Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Tech is responsible for managing hourly associates and providing the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the maintenance departments.  The supervisor must perform responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws.
 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Ability to weld and fabricate.
  • Ability to drive a forklift and have a valid license.
  • Posses knowledge of overheard conveyor systems and component replacement.
  • Operate Bake/Cure oven and Pressure washer
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • operate floor power scrubber when needed.
  •  Understands Diaphragm pump operations and perform repairs.
  • Performs building maintenance and PM's as needed.
Experience and Education
  • High school diploma /GED or 2 or more years experience in maintenace
  • 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and PLC's required. 
  • Knowledge of paint application equipment a plus. 
Functional Competencies
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional and technical journals or procedures, or governmental regulations; write reports, business correspondence, and procedures; effectively present information to all levels of associates.
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations; interpret statistical data including data presented in chart/graph form.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
